What Fovea provides
Fovea is an EPUB reader for iPhone. It includes word-by-word reading, chapter context, reading controls, local library management, and a curated catalog of public domain books.
Your books and content
You are responsible for ensuring that you have the right to import and read any EPUB file you add to Fovea. Do not use Fovea to infringe copyright or other rights. Fovea does not claim ownership of your imported books or reading data.
Supporter purchase
Fovea may offer a one-time, non-consumable Supporter purchase through Apple. The purchase unlocks the features described in the app at the time of purchase. Payment, billing, refunds, and transaction processing are handled by Apple and are subject to Apple terms.
You can use Restore Purchases in Settings for eligible purchases. Refund requests must be submitted through Apple.
No reading outcome guarantee
Reading speed and comprehension vary by person and material. Fovea does not guarantee a particular reading speed, comprehension level, educational result, or health outcome.
Availability and changes
Features, catalog titles, pricing, and availability may change. The app may require updates to remain compatible with Apple platforms and services.
Disclaimer
Fovea is provided as available without warranties to the fullest extent permitted by law. We do not promise uninterrupted operation or that every EPUB file will be compatible.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Fovea will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential losses arising from use of the app or website. Nothing in these terms limits rights that cannot legally be limited.
Privacy
The Fovea Privacy Policy explains how optional analytics and privacy requests are handled.
